Leighton Meester and Her Mother are Suing Each Other?!

Ouch!  Talk about family feuds.  Reports have surfaced that Leighton Meester is suing her mother, Constance, claiming that she is using the $7,500 Leighton sends on a monthly basis for her brother, Alexander's health care because he has medical issues.  No, wait!  It gets better.  Apparently Constance refuses to work and, instead of using the funds for their intended purpose, is using them for Botox, plastic surgery, and hair extensions.

Um, what?

No, seriously, here's where it gets juicy.  Constance filed a lawsuit against her daughter on Monday in Los Angeles, saying that Leighton promised a one-time only payment of $30,000 and then an additional $10,000 EVERY MONTH, and hasn't paid.  She also states that because of this, there are no funds for Alexander's care.  THERE'S MORE: the mother's lawsuit claims that Leighton thew her to the ground in December 2010 and hit her with a bottle repeatedly.  She's apparently asking for damages from the beating, breach of contract, intentional infliction of emotional distress and there are other charges.

A source for Leighton told People that "This whole thing's been really tough on Leighton.  Her only concern has always been taking care of her brother.  Leighton's really close with her brother and dad-- her parents are divorced.  Leighton's a sweet girl-- she cares about work, friends, and family."
